Will Christopher Nolan Return to ‘The Dark Knight’?

Back in 2008 when the highly successful Batman Begins sequel released, everyone wanted to see another sequel as soon as possible. Everyone loved The Dark Knight, everyone wanted to know what was going to happen next. Everyone wondered if director Christopher Nolan would be back.

Of course we all know now Batman director Christopher Nolan decided to take a break and film Inception before the third Batman film. Inception’s going good, you can view the trailer HERE, it’s release date is July 16, 2010. The film is a  contemporary sci-fi action thriller set within the architecture of the mind.

Well it’s been a little over a year now and no official news yet. We have had a few outrageous rumors in the past and some dream casting scenarios but nothing new to report. We all want to know if Nolan will be back for the third Batman film and when we’re going to get the first official update.

‘Spider-man 4′ Gets a Casting Call

Besides the Thor casting, today’s news has been mostly about Spider-man 4. Continuing that trend, we’re bringing you yet another update for the film. After the whole Black Cat rumor, we have no definite idea who will be playing Felicia Hardy but we do have a few big name actresses surrounding the role.

Today’s news doesn’t necessarily involve Black Cat but is somewhat of a casting update. It’s not a villain or anything like that but you will have to continue with this article to see the latest casting call for Spider-man 4.

Julia Stiles to Play Black Cat in ‘Spider-man 4′?

Julia Stiles Spider-man 4Last week we told you Black Cat was semi-confirmed for Spider-man 4. There is indeed a role and a few big name actresses have been linked to the part. Earlier today we told you fan favorite Rachel McAdams hasn’t heard anything about it denying she has the part. We still haven’t heard anything from Romola Garai, another actresses rumored for the role. Today we get a bit of news concerning the role with Julia Stiles attached. Rachel McAdams Talks ‘Spider-man 4′

Three More Join ‘Thor’!

Variety reports that Marvel Studios and Thor director Kenneth Branagh have signed Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, and Tadanobu Asano to play The Warriors Three, a trio of Asgardian adventurers who fight alongside the Norse god.

Townsend plays Fandral, Stevenson is Volstagg the Valiant, and Asano plays Hogun the Grim.

They join a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson and Stellan Skarsgard. Filming is set to start in January for a May 20, 2011 release.

Favreau Tweets About ‘Iron Man 2′

Jon Favreau TwitterIt’s almost been two weeks since the last Iron Man 2 update. Last we heard, director Jon Favreau was very busy editing the upcoming CBM due for release May 6, 2010.

Favreau gave us an update about a month ago while editing the film. In that update, he told us how this process of film making is very tricky and that he was waiting on the CGI team to figure out how the characters will look and move while finishing their work. Jaimie Alexander Begins Training for ‘Thor’

‘Hack/Slash’ Has a New Writer

If you recall, back in July we told you Hack/Slash received a new director in Fredrik Bond. with that post, we also told you Justin Marks was writing the script with a possible winter start.

More recently we brought an interview with the producers saying Hack/Slash would be announcing some casting soon. We’re still waiting on that bit of news but we also wanted to hear of a possible start date. I assume with today’s news, we’re a bit of a ways away from seeing Hack/Slash move forward. ‘RED’ Casting Update

Today we find out Julian McMahon, Brian Cox, Ernest Borgnine, and Richard Dreyfuss are in negotiations to star alongside the confirmed cast scheduled to start shooting early next year. Best CBM Casting of All Time – Topher Grace vs. Willem DaFoe

We started this game on our Message Boards over two years ago, and it’s still going!  The list includes movies made up until 2007. Needless to say, there are alot of actors and actresses that have been cast in CBMs!

I decided to move this game over to the site so we can generate more interest and more votes. The game works like this – Each week 2 actors/actresses will be matched up against one another, and it’s up to you, the fans, to decide who was the better choice to play the part.
