I agree it's going to be awhile until we get a Civil War movie. I would like to see it live but by the time they even get close to it, Robert Downey Jr. will be 50 or above. They still haven't cast anyone else in the avengers and then Sony and Fox would have to revert their rights to some characters back to Marvel. I just don't think we'll be getting a live Civil War movie.
As for animated, I would totally watch an animated movie of Civil War. It could be done right given the right voices for the film. I really don't mind what the animation team comes up with, as long as it looks like the Avengers movies, or the hulk Vs. movie. We could possibly get that movie in the next half decade if Ultimate Alliance 2 does as good as it should.
If they do animated, I think CG would look best - I mean, just think about those mini-CG movies they made on Marvel.com about Iron Man, Spider-Man and Hulk vs. the giant robot. If they could improve on that and make a movie, that'd be something worth seeing. But a Japanese director should do it, like the guy who did Final Fantasy VII or Resident Evil Degeneration - that stuff was hot.
