First off I want to say that the movie was amazing. I love all of the characters especially Rorschach. It is by far one of the best CBMs of all time. Though my review may not be as good as our review man Nemisis, i will attempt to talk about how great this movie was.

First off, the movie is not an action packed flick that the previews make it out to be. It's more of a mystery film which shows that being a superhero is not fun-with-capes-and-masks kind of deal you see in spider-man or superman. This is possibly the most realistic look on what superheroes actually are outside of their costumes which i felt perfected their character background, especially The Comedian. The actors deliever their roles very well except for Ozymandias but only because he didn't get enough screen time compared to everyone else.

The CGI on Dr. Manhattan is amazing and looks lifelike. The music orchestra is used very well except for some songs I felt didn't fit especially if you listen to the lyrics but the sound fits if that makes sense. There are many surprises in this film for those who have never read the graphic novel but one thing I felt was obvious is who the bad guy was but I'm not going to tell you. Pretty much anyone could figure it out.

There weren't many bad things in this film (except Dr. Manhattan needs to learn to put on some freakin pants every now and then). A very good film which must be viewed by everyone. it's worth any price to see it.

8/10

Well, he at least wore his dark-blue speedos in Vietnam. Could you imagine if he didn't for that sequence? Talk about intimidating.

Let's face it, it's not Dr. Manhattan if he's got pants on. He's gotta be swingin' or have a Dark Blue speedo on

This is something I heard somewhere. I'm putting it in spoilers box for those of us who can put two and two together.

Spoiler: show
If you look closely the comedians killer is not Blue, not a girl, not wearing a hat, and not in an Owl Suit... hmm.

Awsome review Freak.

Very good review, very short and sweet just like I like it. I agree with you on the cast being perfect for this film. Everyone in their respected roles were the character they played. I too wish Ozymandias had more screen time to seem more innocent and what not. If he had a say in some of the things the others were talking about and doing, like trying to break Rorschach out of prison, than he would have been more believable. I can see why he wouldn't though since he is a public figure. I guess if he had more screen time than the ending would have seemed like it came out of no where.

I just have to say that the movie was really good and it is one of those films that if you watch it more than once, it's equal to or better than the first viewing.

Well, it wouldn't make much sense if he tried to break Rorscach out of prison since he was the one who put him there. Plus, there was no real communication between Ozymandias and the rest of the gang. He seemed pretty obviously the bad guy in his first scene and in the one where he meets his alleged attacker - which felt less obvious in the book.
