HOW DOES IT WORK?
There are two processes of the Awards. The first one, the Nomination Process, which WILL be taking place on the Message Boards is where YOU create the selection of the nominees for the awards. This process will begin on February 16th and end on March 1st, at which point we will close all of the threads in the forum, count up all of the nominees and decide on the OFFICIAL TOP 3 NOMINATIONS for each category of the actual awards.

The second part, the Voting Process, is where YOU vote for the winners, in which, ANYONE visiting the site will be able to vote, you don't have to be a member of the boards. For the Voting process, a voting page will be available on this site where you would need to pick only 1 selection per category. The 2009 CBM winners would be announced soon thereafter! Announcement date to be determined.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
As long as you're registered on the board (register here, its free and simple, and takes less then a minute!) you can post your nominations! So, be sure to register today! The Voting will begin after the Nomination Process is complete. An announcement will be made on this site when voting is available, you do not need an account to vote.

HOW MANY NOMINATIONS CAN WE MAKE PER CATEGORY?
Everyone can choose up to 5 NOMINATIONS per category, but you don't have to choose 5 if you don't have that many. In other words, if you can only think of two Nominees, just put those two down. If you choose more than 5, none of your votes will count for that category.

CAN I VOTE MORE THAN ONCE?
You can only EDIT your post (click on the edit button under your post ), and change your nominations anytime between February 16th and March 1st. You CAN NOT post multiple times in the same category.

WHICH MOVIES CAN I NOMINATE?
You can only nominate CBM (Comic Book Movies) that were released in 2008. A complete list of eligible movies is available here.
