hello. i'm new here although i've been reading ECBM for quite a long time (since before Batman Begins was being made definately, possibly as far back as making of spider-man 2), and recently have been "lurking" on the forums. i had never posted but my account was deleted. is this normal for legitimate accounts with no posts to be deleted with no warning or an email to ask if it is legitimate or anything?!!

Firstly, we apologize for deleting your account mistakenly.

We get alot of spam bots on the boards and we try to, on a daily basis, remove those accounts as quickly as possible before they are able to post unwanted spam. Your account must of been flagged. We are always suspicious of new accounts with zero posts.

i have seen the amount of spam you get here, it's quite shocking!! and this was posted on another PHBB board which i go to which suffers less spam than here.
