News and Rumors:

November 24, 2004: Wesley Snipes on the possibility of starring in Black Panther: "I've wanted to do the Black Panther for years now and if the fans want it, I would be honored to bring T'Challa to life. I read the post where Black Panther was the topic and I'd like to say it wouldn't be all that difficult for me to play another comic book character. I've played many cops, dads, hustlers, FBI agents and guys running down the street and more time than not I've been able to create distinctive personalities. It would be a fabulous challenge to animate another black comic book. To make the impossible, possible and the unbelievable, believable is one of the greatest dreams an artist has."

Wesley Snipes is rumored to play the lead.

April 18, 2002: During promotional work in Spain for "Blade II", Wesley Snipes reconfirmed that he's signed to do this next year. The script is almost finished but a director has yet to be locked.
