Eliza Dushku as Black Cat in ‘Spider-man 4′?

The article image was found by MTV back in June of this year. The lovely lady in the fan-made posters is none other than Eliza Dushku, a past fan favorite for the role of Felicia Hardy/Black Cat.
According to MTV, Dushku was a favorite among fans way back before Spider-man 3 came out, enough for someone to create a few posters for Spider-man 4.
I’ve heard a few grumblings of support for the actress to play Black Cat in the comments recently so why not add her to the ever growing list of candidates for the part? Dushku has heard the rumors of support and earlier this year, she addressed the rumors in an interview with MTV. Continue with this article to see what she had to say.
“Don’t you love the Internet and the fans out there?” Dushku said while addressing the fan-made posters. “They do it up!”
Even though she isn’t officially in the running for the role right now she asked the interviewer if they would want to see her play the role of Black Cat.
“Would you like to see me not just superimposed, but as Black Cat?”
Of course the guy said yes so she responded with, “Okay, well, tell your friends – write a letter.”
It’s interesting she wold like to play Felicia Hardy in Spider-man 4. Dushku is very vocal and outspoken when there’s news surrounding a role she wants.
Earlier this year we heard her petition for the role of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the Iron Man 2. That eventually lead to nothing and next May, we get to see Scarlett Johansson as the sexy Russian spy.
If Dushku were to get the part, I really wouldn’t have a problem with it but if the recent rumors are true, it sounds like they’re going in a different direction for the part. With actresses like Anne Hathaway, Rachel McAdams and Julia Stiles rumored to be up for the role, it would be the biggest underdog story of the year if Duskhu were somehow cast. I’m not saying it’s impossible, just unlikely.

I think Dushku makes more sense than Hathaway.

Is anyone NOT rumored to be playing the Black Cat? Seriously, it’s become ridiculous and I stopped caring cause none of them mean shit. What’s next, roseanne barr as the black cat?! hahaha

Yeah it has become ridiculous but it’s really fun reporting on it. Whenever they do cast the part, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Oh and Roseanne Barr would make a great Black Cat by the way.

Blake Lively has the definite look, but I don’t know about her acting ability. Has anyone actually seen her in anything.

@ Landfill, Black Cat had silver hair partner. Or am I mistaken. I remember Felicia Hardy having blonde hair in the first cartoon series. I don’t know if I even want to see Black Cat in this film unless it actually ends the relationship with Parker and Jane. I’m sick of Parker having to come to the rescue of Jane in all the movies.

Is it silver or white? It doesn’t really matter because Felicia’s hair is blond. I still couldn’t see Dushku as a blond but then again, I was poking fun at someone in an earlier comment on another article that said they couldn’t see Anne Hathaway as a blond.
As for Blake Lively, yes, she definitely does have the look. I watched a movie recently where she was doing alot of something that really caught my eye. She does that sometimes, anyway, yeah she looks great but I’m iffy on her acting ability as well. I’ve never noticed if she could act.

Felicia Hardy is what they call a Platinum Blonde, hair so blonde it almost appears white or silverish. Somebody please boot Julia Stiles off of this list, there’s no way in hell she can play the part right. Eliza Dushku has the acting chops and the body to make anyone forget what her true hair color is. Anne Hathaway has the body and after what she’s went through in her personal life over the past year I bet she could pull off one awesome performance as a woman with a dark side who uses her looks to help her get whatever she wants. After looking at some pics of Romola Garai, she could definitely bring the look to the character, but I have to admit I’ve never seen her acting. Blake Lively has the body, but I don’t think she can do the essential Cat-eyes look the character needs, I can’t say about her acting. Tricia Helfer could probably make it work, but she’s not that high on the list for me. As far as Elisha Cuthbert goes, ever since I saw a fan-made poster, I’m still holding out for her to play Supergirl!

Eliza Dushku would be perfect for Black Cat. She has the look and the perfect voice for it. I can definitely picture her in Spiderman 4.
