Edward Norton Talks ‘Avengers’ & ‘Hulk 2′

Edward Norton has been quoted numerous times saying he knows nothing about Marvel’s plans for Avengers or another Hulk film. From his past quotes you can tell he really wants to come back but hasn’t heard anything from anyone.
Norton’s latest quote about another Hulk film he said, “I will probably find out after you do. Nothing new.”
He also added another Hulk film isn’t purely a matter of time and doesn’t think there will be one before the Avengers assemble.

More recently Capone, from Ain’t It Cool News, received a phone call from Edward Norton. Of course it was planned and Norton was only to talk about his latest film By the People: The Election of Barack Obama which premiered last night on HBO.
Anyone on the phone with Edward Norton would love to ask him what he’s thinking about Marvel’s upcoming CBMs and that’s exactly what the interviewer did.
First off, Capone asked the actor if it was fine to ask about a different film. Edward gave permission and this was the question, “Where are you with the future of either an AVENGERS film or another HULK film?”
Norton said, “I don’t… Knowing you guys, you will probably have updates on that quicker than I will, so if you find out, call me! [Laughs] I actually don’t know. I’m not even sure deep inside the minds of Marvel how they are planning to string that stuff out, but I don’t think there is any if it is imminent, I don’t know.”
Capone asked if anything Marvel still holds interest to the actor. Norton said, “Things like that to me are always completely dependent on what they make of it. You know what I mean? It’s like anything can be the crappy version of itself or the great version of itself and if it’s the great version of itself, then that’s one thing. If they don’t get it right, then I don’t know, then I think… A lot of it depends on what they come up with.”
As always, Edward Norton stays relatively quiet about anything mostly because there’s nothing new to report. It’s nice to know he’s looking forward to what they’re trying to do and would rather choose quality over anything else.
I really liked the Hulk film from 2008 and Norton played a good Bruce Banner. It would be a shame to see him not be a part of the Avengers whenever that projects starts to roll.

We need another Hulk!! Plus Ed Norton needs to play him. They already set us up for the the leader in the last one so why not before you do the avengers which of course has to have Hulk with Ed norton playing Banner he the best.
