Best CBM Casting of All Time!

By FavaBeans | November 6, 2009

cbmv4_1We started this game on our Message Boards over two years ago, and it’s still going!  Needless to say, there are alot of actors and actresses that have been cast in CBMs!

I decided to move this game over to the site so we can generate more interest and more votes. The game works like this – Each week 2 actors/actresses will be matched up against one another, and it’s up to you, the fans, to decide who was the better choice to play the part. At the end, the winner with the most votes moves on to the next round.  A new match up will be posted every Friday and will last one week!

Continue on to learn more and vote on this week’s match up!

    Catwoman hands down.

Also, this competition already has some amazing upsets and, in my opinion, bad calls. J.K. Simmons not the perfect J. Jonah Jameson!?! Shenanigans! Maybe I don’t understand the game, but I don’t see anyone on the IN list that would have been better at their role than he was at that one.

    catwoman

This list is ridiculous. How are you gonna say Thomas Jane and Chris Evans aren’t perfect for the role. Stupid list, lame results

WHAAAAAAT? How does J.K. Simmons get knocked off, he IS the best.

AN Pfeiffer’s Catwoman totally wins this round

J.K Simmons was beaten out by Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

I agree, J.K Simmons is a PERFECT J.J Jameson… but more fans voted for Christian Bale…. hard match up!

I know this is ridiculous, but everything should have been ranked beforehand, like March Madness.

  9. Ross Says:
    November 6th, 2009 at 7:41 pm

Oh snap, I never saw that matchup… quite unfair. Perhaps this should have been separated by best comic heros/villains and best supporting characters?

  10. Ross Says:
    November 6th, 2009 at 7:57 pm

and… is there a reason Heath Ledger isn’t on here?

  11. Jolawsci Says:
    November 6th, 2009 at 9:25 pm

Heath Ledger isn’t on the list because this was started in 2007 before the Dark knight came out, so Heath Ledger CAN’T be on this list.

…………………..And Catwoman wins this round by unanimous decision and advances to the next round..

I wish I could have known about the other rounds of this contest, but I have to go with Catwoman, just because Michelle Pfeiffer gave me a boner as a kid and Yun-Fat Chow never did.

Based off of boner status, also by the fact that Michelle Pfeiffer is the live action basis for all Catwoman figures, I have to go with the Cat.

Bullet-proof Monk is a great 99 cent Blockbuster rental.
The dude from Role Models knows Kung-Fu? Awesome!

I haven’t voted since the reboot that required setting up new accounts, so I’m not sure how we are entering our preferences this time around. Can I just post here, or do I need to enter my preference someplace else?

I am voting for Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Too bad that she wasn’t in the Catwoman movie instead of H.B.!

First off, come on guys, I’m sure the match ups are random and that’s why there are a few people still left that we all think suck.

If you look in the forums you can search for which match up you’re wondering about but I’ll go ahead and say Ben Affleck as Daredevil is way better than George Clooney as Batman. A match up like that could have happened in order to keep Affleck around.

The game is very old and if it were actually up to date, I could tell you right now who’d be the top finalists, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, and Heath Ledger as Joker. Maybe it’s a good thing those two juggernauts aren’t in it.

And now to my vote being cast, I vote for Michelle Pfeiffer only because someone up top was talking about how she made them feel when they were younger, something Chow Yun Fat cannot do.
