UPDATE: New Producers for ‘Doc Savage’

A few days ago we told you Shane Black (Letha Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2) would be writing a treatment for the upcoming CBM, Doc Savage. In that same article we said Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman would be producing. The last part of the article is wrong and we’ll tell you today who the real producers are for Doc Savage.
Collider has the exclusive and they say it’s not going to be Orci or Kurtzman but Neil Moritz and Ori Marmur. They are the duo responsible for producing the upcoming CBM Green Hornet, along with Battle: Los Angeles, and Jack the Giant Killer. Collider also says they have a deal with Sony so if Doc Savage ever sees the light of day, Sony will make it happen.
Interesting bit of news because in the last update I made it a point to say Orci and Kurtzman already had a full plate. I am please to see they don’t have a hand in Doc Savage, I like the duo, it’s just they have their hands full at the moment.
As for the other two producers, they’re ok for now but I am pleased to see yet another comic book movie in development.
