Seth Rogen Comments on ‘Green Hornet’
By Landfill | October 27, 2009
With non-stop filming under way for Green Hornet, Seth Rogen barely has time to pull himself away from production let along stop writing long enough to take time for an interview. I suppose he found time and gave an interview, one point made, was concerning the upcoming CBM. Continue with this article to find out what the actor/writer had to say.
While promoting the new diret-to-tv Halloween special Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkin from Outer Space, airing on NBC, Seth Rogen talked about upcoming projects along with his character appearing on cable this Wednesday.
Rogen went on to explain in the interview he only writes what he wants to do because he sees himself playing the character. As you already know, he wrote Green Hornet so he feels deeply invested in the character and production.
“Even if it sucks for another reason, people will blame me and that’s why I have to be so involved – [to] try to make sure that it doesn’t suck,” Rogen said. “I’ve been talking about this movie for years and if it sucks, then no one will be more disappointed than me, believe me.”
I have to admit I’ve rad comments and articles talking about how much they hate the fact that Rogen will be playing Britt Reid in the upcoming CBM but he has shown tons of effort for the role by losing a ton of weight.
Production was halted at one point to find a director even after the actor lost the weight for the role. He kept it off and stayed dedicated to the project and now they’re almost done filming. If that’s not effort and dedication on Rogen’s part, I don’t know what is
What do think of the upcoming CBM Green Hornet? Is Rogen the guy for the job or did you have someone else in mind? Share your thoughts with us about Green Hornet in the comments.
