More ‘Scott Pilgrim’ Images and a Possible Release Date
By Landfill | October 31, 2009
While doing the weekend search of all the daily photos from Scott Pilgrim director Edgar Wright’s website, I came across the article image which could mean alot of things.
1.) It could mean the director didn’t feel like posting another daily image and knew the fans wouldn’t mind if he took a day off.
2.) It could be a subtle hint for a release date.
Continue with this article for a theory along with a few more images from Edgar Wright.
While it’s just a post-it note with a few words on it, it’s still a picture, and a picture is worth a thousand words. I went ahead and checked the calender for 2010 and October 27 is a Wednesday. It’s not uncommon for movies to be released on a Wednesday so it’s possible.
If one were to look at the 7 and mistake it for a 2, it’s more likely the release date could be October 22, 2010 which is on a Friday, a day almost every film meets it’s audience. Whenever Edgar Wright is done editing his film, we should get an official release date. And now on to the images.
First image was posted a few day ago on the 26th. Of course we recognize the actor as Chris Evans who is playing Lucas Lee, a skateboarder turned actor, in the upcoming CBM. My favorite faux poster is Action Doctor by the way.
The second image was posted on the 29th and is a character breakdown for the film. According to the director, “Scott Pilgrim fans can spot one unintentional, but quite ironic mistake in these character breakdowns.” Click the image to enlarge. Can’t find the mistake? Edgar Wright gives the answer in the comments.
