More Images From ‘Green Hornet’ and a Few Words From Seth Rogen

By Landfill | October 5, 2009

Remember when Seth Rogen was huge and every one laughed at him when he seriously wanted to take on the iconic role of The Green Hornet? Well no one’s laughing now when you see the massive change he’s gone through to create the look of a hero. Today we’re bringing you a few quotes from Rogen about his recent fitness and how he feels about himself losing all the weight. Besides the weight loss talk, we’re also providing a few images for your viewing pleasure.

Seth said he feels like a sell out for losing the weight. He said he’s the guy he would have made fun of a few years ago. Rogen also said it was hard work and dedication of eating right and exercising with a personal trainer every day.

‘I’ve been eating better and training – and hating myself for it. I feel like a sell out, I feel lame, I feel like a guy I would make fun of,’ he said.

‘I go there real early in the morning,’ he added. ‘He tells me what to do, and I go home and go to sleep, and it’s like it never even happened.’

Rogen stated in an interview last April that he would have to be in tip top shape in order to do all his own stunts.

And now to the images I promised you. Below are some images provided to us by Daily Mail.

Fit or not Seth Rogen is not cut out for a superhero roll. He’s very funny, and he should stay with it. He is no Ryan Reynolds (who can pretty much do anything). I am not looking forward to seeing this film.

It’s true that I don’t seeh him as a superhero but then again, he’s not playing a “Superhero”. He’s got the average looking guy down and I think they’re trying to give Green Hornet more of a comedic take rather than a more serious take.

All I can say is wait for the trailer to see if it’s going to be any good.

I had heard at one time they wanted to do an action film with comedic tones (ALA Italian Job, Phantom, Bad Boys) but I could be wrong
A co-worker said he saw Observe & Report this weekend and while he said the movie sucked(and he is a big Rogen fan) a couple of the fight scenes where he uses a nightstick were well done and he has hope for GH.

I myself picture a George Clooney type as GH but as you said, time & the trailer will tell.
