Jeffrey Dean Morgan Comments on ‘Lobo’

By Landfill | October 13, 2009

Last month we brought the news that Lobo found a director in Guy Ritchie. A week later we brought more news from Jeffrey Dean Morgan saying he’d like to play Lobo in the upcoming CBM. Today Morgan has a few more words about the project.

Morgan recently spoke with MTV about his past comments about the character. “I said that in passing, I don’t t know that I’m a big blue guy.”

“Lobo happens to be a character that flies by the seat of his pants,” said Morgan. “I don’t know if I’m the guy or not, but I think it’s going to be one hell of a movie. I’ll certainly be going to see it.”

Sounds like a bit of doubt that I’m not too happy to report but I hope he changes his mind again next month and gives us another update with a more positive tone.

I think he could pull it off, one of the only guys who could do it. For some reason Kevin Durand comes to mind, possibly because someone brought him to my attention recently.

Morgan had one more thing to say before making us all feel a little empty inside. “Hey, if Guy Ritchie came to me and said, ‘You want to do Lobo?’ I’d say, ‘Yeah.’”

Let’s hope Guy sees the recent news about his upcoming CBM and casts Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Not a fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan? Who would you want cast as Lobo in the upcoming CBM? Share your thoughts/ideas with us in the comments.
