No disrespect to Hopkins but The All Fatrher is a wise looking, rotund and booming voiced God of Gods. Hopkins is a great character actor but I just don't see him booming out orders or looking regal and god like. I see Sir Anthony as more of a Heimdall the guardian of the gods and of the link between Midgard and Asgard. But hey...that's just me I like Blessed best. Providing more star power, will attract more people to the theaters, and is an incredible actor, with all due respect Brian Blessed just have his voice in favor and is not like the voice of Hopkins is bad, so not even a great lost. The performance of Hopkins in Meet Joe Black is amazing and I thought about it immediately, it is good, it shows a lot of wisdom and great demeanor and could fit pretty well with the necessary adjustments to apply to an Asgard setting.
