Great Find: Kevin Smith Talks Failed Superman Lives Project
By Landfill | October 4, 2009
Earlier today we brought a few quotes from Kevin Smith talking about the Disney/Marvel deal. Now we’re going to treat you to a video of Smith talking about the failed Superman Lives project from the 90’s.
Smith said there were three guidelines he had to follow while writing the screenplay for producer Jon Peters.
1. Superman can’t wear the traditional red and blue suit.
2. Superman can’t fly.
3. Superman has to fight a giant Spider in the third act of the film.
If you’ve got time, I suggest you take this Sunday and enjoy it with this great find. I mean a little more Kevin Smith in your day doesn’t hurt anything right? Oh yeah, strong language in video, you’ve been warned. Click the image to watch the video.

Yeah is awesome and pretty funny and sad, because you realize how OFF was and maybe is still are, the people behind the Superman project and Superman Returns was a proof of that.

Kevin Smith is very funny and it has to be true because they would have made the movie if it was any better than what he said.
