Green Hornet/Cage Rumor Put To Rest

It was widely rumored that Nicolas Cage (Ghost Rider, Kick-Ass) was to play the villain in Michel Gondry’s upcoming Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, and Jay Chau. That rumor can be laid to rest today because The Hollywood Reporter’s HeatVisionBlog is reporting that Cage has officially dropped out of the project.
No official word as to why the sudden departure from Cage but Columbia is out searching for a new baddy for the film which recently started principle photography last week. You can view set photos by click HERE & HERE.
