‘Priest’ Casting News

Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and Lily Collins (90210) are joining the cast of Priest directed by Scott Stewart. They’re joining an ensemble cast that already include Paul Bettany, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, and Cam Gigandet.
Some of you may know Moyer as Bill Compton from HBO’s True Blood where he plays a 173 year old vampire. According to Variety, Moyer’s role is the mortal brother of Priest Ivan Isaacs played by Bettany. Isaacs is a warrior priest who turns his back on the church to hunt vampires who kidnapped his niece played by Collins.
Filming will begin this week. The release date for Priest is August 13, 2010.
